Donny Osmond Not a Fan of Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’

Singer Donny Osmond has been expressing his distaste for Lady Gaga’s new music video ‘Telephone’.
The 52-year-old father of five said in a statement on Wednesday:
“I’m all for freedom of speech and against any form of censorship, but all I know is that I’m a parent and I’m upset about this,” said the 52-year-old in a statement on Wednesday.
“Unlike 20 years ago, in today’s modern, viral world in which content becomes instantaneously available irrespective of age, I wonder whether the music industry might need to rethink its marketing policies with regard to making an explicit music video containing profanity, sexual exploitation, nudity, and graphic violence available to anyone with Internet access,” he added.
I can see his point and I wouldn’t let my 3 or 6-year-old watch the video, but I see that as my responsibility and not that of the music industry. I guess it might be more difficult with older children who can actively go and search out the content, but then again, you sometimes see worse things than this on the news! You can’t censor everything.

I’m vulgar as fuc* but I kinda agree with Donny on this one simply because she has her ass and pu$$ right out there in front in the video and who cares if its blurred. Kids aren’t stupid- they know she’s letting her fraps hang out. What if a 10 year old pops that video on?

I agree with him… it’s not about no liking lady gaga, but of course if you are a parent, you would not like your children watching those explicit contents…. we would want them to grow with moral values….
