ABC have released the first official cast photos from the upcoming season of ‘Dancing with the Stars‘.

In-keeping with the usual glamorous DwtS style, the costumes are a mix of skimpy, sparkly and dazzling, with a distinct red theme.

There have been no photos released of Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, as yet.

Contestant Bristol Palin has said she thinks she will be dressed more conservatively than others on the show. Speaking to PEOPLE, Bristol explained: “I think I will be the most dressed [contestant and have] the most modest outfits for sure because that’s who I am.”

School can be a challenging time – not just for the kids, but the parents, too! Playground politics, bitchy mums, you name it – but it must be twice as difficult trying to fit in as a celebrity mum.

Sharon Osbourne has admitted that she felt like the odd-one-out amongst other mums, when her three children Aimee, Jack and Kelly were at school in England.

Sharon explains: “All the mothers there would look at me like I was an oddball. Like I had fangs.

“They’d say, ‘We’re having a coffee morning, bring a cake’. I would go to the supermarket and buy a fruit cake. And I would stick out like a sore thumb.”

Sharon also revealed that she thinks her lack of ability to bond with other women is because she doesn’t cook. The 57-year-old has just been offered a spot on an all-women talk show but feels that she’s not cut out for the part. When talking about a similar talk show, ‘The View’, Sharon said:

“God the women on ‘The View’ are such boring old tarts. Dried up old b*****s. I could never be really good on a show with women because I don’t cook.”

Oo-er, I think that’s ensured Sharon won’t be asked to take part in THAT particular show.

Heidi Montag who famously underwent 10 cosmetic surgery procedures in one day, likes to massage her breasts regularly as she is terrified her implants will harden.

Heidi took to Twitter, urging other women with implants to do the same, saying:

“Giving myself a soft tissue breast massage. Ladies we have to keep those implants soft.”

Even though her breast implants give her worry, they weren’t the the most painful nip/tuck she’s had done – Heidi says having her ears pinned back was the worst of her surgeries.
She tweeted: “Warning: to anyone who is thinking about getting their ears pinned. I learned after the fact it is the most painful surgery a person can get.”

Heidi has recently revealed that she would like to reverse some of the surgery she’s had done but is concerned that can never happen since her surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan died in a car crash last month.

Heidi explains: “I feel trapped in my own body. There’s just no fixing it. Dr. Ryan knows the work he did, he knows everything.”

Nevertheless, ‘The Hills’ star is determined to ‘downgrade’ her breast implants due to the hassle they cause her on a daily basis.

Heidi recently admitted: “My boobs are crushing me. My body’s still getting used to them and I have major anxiety about it. I was taking painkillers but they weren’t working so I stopped. It hurt either way.

“I’m desperate to go back to normal. I’m downgrading and going a little smaller, to a D or a double D.

“I’m obsessed with fitness but it’s impossible to work out with these boobs. It’s heartbreaking. I can’t live an everyday life.“

Lily Allen was photographed showing off her cute baby bump, yesterday, as she worked the red carpet at the premiere of Brit flick ‘Tamara Drewe‘ in London’s Leicester Square. The singer, who is just over four months pregnant with her first child, had shown up to support her mum, Alison Owen, who produced the movie.

‘Tamara Drewe’ is a weekly comic strip serial by Posy Simmonds published in The Guardian’s review section. The comic strip is based upon a modern reworking of the nineteenth century novel ‘Far from the Madding Crowd’, and has been transformed into a movie version, starring the beautiful Gemma Arterton.

Plot: ‘A young newspaper writer returns to her home town in the English countryside. Her childhood home is being prepared for sale.

She is instinctively a shy and emotional girl but she reinvents herself as a smouldering femme fatale, kicking up a storm wherever she goes.

The movie is due to be released in UK cinemas on September 10th and US cinemas on October 8th and we think it’s one not to miss!

Actress Brooke Shields is relieved that her children don’t seem to want to follow in her footsteps.

The former child star has revealed that she’s pleased her daughters, Rowan, 7, and Grier, 4, haven’t expressed much interest in acting so far, and she hopes that’s the way it will stay. However, if the girls change their minds in the future, 45-year-old Brooke says she will support them.

The Furry Vengeance star said: “Recently, my children tried out for a cameo in one of my husband’s movies. They went through all the hair and make-up, got so excited in wardrobe, ate the location food and then they refused to go on. And when I asked why, my daughter said, ‘I just wanted the hair and make-up!’ They obviously don’t need approval as much as I did growing up.

“If I had my wish, it would be that they won’t want to act. If they do, I’ll support them as long as they get an education.”

In her spare time, singer and actress Taylor Momsen apparently enjoys a nice spot of… incinerating random objects. Who knew?!

17-year-old Taylor’s ‘The Pretty Reckless‘ bandmates think her love of fire is actually a bit of an obsession and say she sometimes takes it too far.

The band’s guitarist Ben Phillips revealed: “Taylor loves setting things on fire, so this is great. Taylor thinks we’re some rock ‘n’ roll bada*ses. In the studio, there was this pit where the owner would burn stuff. We’d burn old keyboards, computers, stuff them full of TNT and set them on fire. Taylor loves fire.

“I shouldn’t say this. One morning, Taylor got into the studio really early – she’d just had her dog neutered and brought in the bits. Which she then burned. We were grossed out.” (Via Contact Music.)

Eva Longoria was at the Westfield Shopping Centre in London, yesterday, for the launch of her new fragrance, ‘Eva’.

Shoppers queued up early to purchase a bottle of the scent at The Perfume Shop and have it signed by Eva herself.

Eva spent an evening with pal Victoria Beckham during her time in London. The pair stepped out together in London on Saturday night and dined at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant, Maze, with Gordon and his wife Tane.

It seems that Eva is a fan of Victoria’s Autumn/Winter 2010 collection, if the former Spice Girl’s new Twitter account is anything to go by. Eva apparently wore dresses from the collection on both her night out with Posh and at her perfume launch.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s son Sparrow will turn 1 later this week, and the little guy has already had a fun-filled birthday bash to celebrate.

Nicole, Joel and 2-year-old sister Harlow threw Sparrow a party at their Hollywood home on Saturday. Around 50 guests attended, including Uncle Benji, and hung out in the family’s back yard which was decorated with colourful balloons.

“Nicole was keeping the party simple to not overwhelm Sparrow,“ one party-goer told PEOPLE. “Everyone seemed to have a great time.”

Where has the time gone? I’m sure Nicole is asking the same question!
